Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the Adak Petroleum website or engaging our refining, storage, and logistics services.
By accessing this website (adakpetroleum.com) or engaging in business with Adak Petroleum ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all visitors, users, clients, and partners who utilize our petroleum refining, bulk fuel storage, marine bunkering, aviation fuel supply, or ocean freight logistics services. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of our website and services immediately.
Any bulk fuel quote, vessel tracking request, or logistical estimate provided via this website is strictly informational and does not constitute a binding legal contract. Formal agreements for petroleum supply, storage leases at our Gulf Coast or international terminals, and maritime freight charters are subject to the execution of definitive written contracts signed by authorized representatives of Adak Petroleum and the client.
Adak Petroleum enforces a strict zero-incident policy. All partners, vessels, third-party contractors, and clients interacting with our refining facilities in Alaska or our bulk storage terminals globally must adhere strictly to our HSE guidelines. We reserve the right to refuse service, halt loading operations, or terminate contracts immediately without penalty if a client or their vessel fails to comply with international maritime safety and environmental regulations (including IMO and EPA standards).
While Adak Petroleum takes exhaustive measures to ensure supply chain security and product purity, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from force majeure events. This includes, but is not limited to, delays in ocean freight, extreme weather conditions affecting our coastal terminals, geopolitical supply chain disruptions, or disruptions to refining operations. Our liability in any service failure is strictly limited to the terms outlined in the specific Master Service Agreement executed with the client.
Adak Petroleum guarantees that all refined products (including Jet A-1, MDO, and gasoline) meet or exceed contracted ISO and international specifications at the point of custody transfer (FOB or CIF, as per contract). Independent laboratory testing is conducted prior to vessel loading. Once custody of the product is transferred, the client assumes full responsibility for maintaining product integrity and preventing contamination during onward transit.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alaska and the federal laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal actions or proceedings arising out of your use of our services shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts located in Alaska.
